Documentation
Everything you need to know about using Predicue effectively. This guide covers every aspect of the platform, from initial setup to advanced features.
Starting
Once you create your Predicue account, you'll go through a three-step setup: select your preferred market categories, add markets to your watchlist, and set your alert preferences. The entire setup takes no more than 2 minutes.
Free 7-day trial starts immediately — no credit card required. During the trial period, you get full access to all features. After the trial, upgrade to the Life plan ($3,000 one-time) to keep unlimited access forever.
System Requirements
Predicue is a web application that works in any modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). No installation required. For best results, we recommend a screen width of at least 1024 pixels and a stable internet connection.
Market scanner
Market Scanner continuously monitors Polymarket's 400+ markets for likely dislocations, unusual volume patterns and catalyst-driven shifts.
Using the Scanner
Use category filters to focus on markets that interest you: politics, cryptocurrency, sports, economics, technology, entertainment or science. Click on any market to view detailed AI analysis, including the historical accuracy of similar signals.
Scanner signals
- Probabilistic shift: Market probability has changed significantly in a short period
- Peak volume: Unusual trading volume detected, indicating deliberate activity
- Liquidity anomaly: The depth of the order book has changed dramatically
- Catalyst mismatch: Market price does not reflect the latest news or events
The scanner updates in real time for all users.
Edge detection
Edge Discovery identifies potential underreporting using our proprietary AI models. Each signal includes a confidence rating (0-100%), a transparent chain of reasoning showing exactly why the signal was generated, and historical backtesting data.
Signal categories
- Strong (75%+ trust): Highly convincing signals backed by a wealth of data and high historical accuracy
- Moderate (50–74% confidence): Signals that support evidence, but with some uncertainty
- Research (below 50%): Interesting patterns that deserve attention, but are not yet realizable
How to use edge signals
Edge signals are a starting point for your own analysis, not trading instructions. Always read the line of reasoning, consider your own thesis, and evaluate historical accuracy before making any decisions. The best traders use signals to discover markets they haven't considered and then apply their own judgment.
Portfolio intelligence
Connect your Polymarket account to unlock portfolio analysis. Predicue displays your positions across different markets, calculates concentration risk, identifies correlated risks and offers hedging options.
Risk Dashboard
The risk dashboard shows real-time profit and loss, risk exposure by category, and correlation heat maps. Key indicators include:
- Concentration rating: How much of your portfolio falls into one category (0–100, the less the better)
- Correlation index: How do your positions correlate with each other?
- Liquidity assessment: How easily can you get out of your positions?
- Risk assessment: Overall portfolio risk score (0-100)
All users have unlimited position tracking.
Daily briefings
Every morning at 8:00 a.m., Predicue creates a personalized briefing covering your watchlist movements, portfolio performance, market fundamentals, and actionable steps.
Briefing sections
- Growth leaders: Markets most likely to change overnight
- Market overview: Summary of Key Categories and Market Trends
- Portfolio: Analysis of the effectiveness of your positions and risks
- Actions: Specific offers based on your portfolio and watchlist.
Briefings are delivered via email and available in the app. Life plan users can fully customize the timing and content of briefings in Settings → Briefings.
Alerts
Set up alerts about events that are important to you. Alerts are delivered via email, push notifications or in-app.
Alert Types
- Probabilistic shifts: Alert when the market moves more than your threshold (default: 2% per 24 hours)
- Volume Spikes: Alert when volume exceeds your threshold (default: $1 million per hour)
- Portfolio Warnings: Alert on concentration or correlation risk
- News catalysts: Notify when news affects your rankings or watchlist
All users receive real-time alerts with less than a second delay.
Dissertation Notes
Document your trading thesis for each position. Predicue links your notes to market data so you can review your original thinking as markets move.
This helps prevent emotional decision making and creates a trackable log of decisions. Over time, you will be able to review which points were true and which were not, improving your analytical process.
Best Practices for Writing Abstracts
- Write your dissertation before applying for a position, not after
- Include specific probability estimates and time horizons.
- Pay attention to the catalysts that you think will drive the market.
- Review and update your dissertation as new information becomes available.
- After solving, compare your dissertation with the actual result.
